better in black and white..

everything seems to be more cinematic and striking to me in black and white, i also have seen it in many of the street style blogs, editorials, and in the spring summer 2013 collections.. i have always admired these two colors (as you can see in my past outfits). i particularly love to combine them in various textures.
here are some inspirational images of black and white from some of my favorite photographers, artists, designers that i find very telling of why i love the two together, oh and i put an interior space as well in the mix of photos . when i was at parsons i always needed inspiration for each collection i designed, it really helped me create. interior spaces were very influential in my design process for some reason. i guess it helped complete the "girl" i was designing for and her lifestyle.. anyways i still use various inspirations as a stylist to work from. fashion and art would not survive without these inspirations (at least i do not think), and inspirations (art photography interiors films stories..etc) would not exist without fashion (for me at least). anyways i am not sure if i am making sense at the moment... enjoy! and i will see you again very soon. have a lovely friday night..
