classic combo..jacket.jeans.prada.pumps.

part of styling even when dressing myself is the color palette.. which regularly consists of black and greys. but i do love color and some times wear it . i also love to contradict the use of colors you would generally think of per season. for example when one thinks of a winter outfit colors tend to be dark and drab at times. especially since it get's dark at around 5pm i need a burst of color to alter my dull mood.  this is what i wore last night.



i recently purchased this coat by balenciaga. the last piece i will ever buy (unless vintage) that was designed by nicolas ghesquière. the bag is one i had to have from prada, it was featured in the fall 2012 campaign. the jeans are from my favorite denim designer mother. the sweater, a barneys cashmere deep wine colored cashmere ribbed crew neck (very classic and comfortable)-and purchase on sale.  the pumps i have had for ages and are miu miu. i love the contrast of browns, burgundy, creams, and light blue.

i am clearly having a clueless moment on the phone with work.. anyways i suggest you add some color and contrast in  to your winter color palette ..and invest in a graphic bag.
