one of the garçons...

i love the label commes des garçons - i  admire their playful and unique clothing and accessories. i find their pieces to be refreshingly modern and interesting, also timeless-the collections are  in a league of their own- so eccentric that they are never "trendy" and remain wearable despite the changing seasons and years. i have sweaters and jackets from them from 5 years ago that i still wear incessantly .

i was so happy when i saw that they collaborated with doc martens (an old favorite of mine- in the 7th grade i had about 10 pairs)..then i saw the shoes and had to have them. i just got these commes des garçons x doc marten shoes at barneys...and this color block/ stripe sweater as well..also  by commes des garçons. these pieces i find very playful and fun to wear.. today's outfit is very comfortable and  easy.. great for running around. it is also very  tom boy look, which i am very in to right now..as you can see. nothing like dressing up as one of the boys..
